After the Run

The run happened — great! Here's what comes next and how feedback works.

Rating the Hometurf

After the host marks the run complete, you'll receive a notification prompting you to rate the experience.

The Two-Step Rating Process

Step 1: Rate the Hometurf

  • Give 1-5 stars
  • Add optional written feedback
  • Choose if your feedback is anonymous

Step 2: Thank Your Fellow Runners

  • Give "nuggets" (appreciation tokens) to participants
  • The host appears first with a crown icon
  • This step is optional but encouraged!

Tips for Good Feedback

Be specific and constructive. Instead of "it was fine," mention what you enjoyed. The route? The pace? The company?

Stay balanced. If something could improve, frame it kindly. Hosts genuinely want to get better.

Keep it honest. Your feedback helps hosts improve and helps other runners decide.

Rating Moderation

Your ratings go to the host for review. They can:

  • Approve — The rating appears on their hometurf
  • Report — If it violates community guidelines

Report is for genuine issues only (offensive content, spam). Hosts can't reject ratings just because they disagree.

Giving Nuggets

"Nuggets" are appreciation tokens you give to runners after a run. They're a way to say thanks:

  • To the host for organizing
  • To fellow runners for the company
  • To anyone who made the run better

Nuggets appear on profiles and contribute to badges.

Check Your Activity

After the run, you can see it in your history:

  • View past runs you've completed
  • See which hometurfs you've rated
  • Track your running activity over time
