Completing Runs
After your run takes place, you'll need to mark it as complete. This triggers the feedback cycle that helps build your reputation.
When to Complete
Mark a run as complete after it has happened. Past runs appear in your My Schedule with a completion button (✓).
How to Complete
- Open My Schedule
- Find your past run (it will show "Past" indicator)
- Click the Complete button (✓)
- Select which participants actually showed up
- Confirm
Participant Confirmation
The completion dialog lets you check off who actually ran:
- ✓ Check participants who showed up
- ✗ Leave unchecked those who didn't make it
Only checked participants will:
- Receive rating prompts
- Have the run count toward their activity
- Be eligible to give you feedback
Zero Participants?
If no one joined your run, you'll see a Delete option instead. This quietly removes the run from the system — no notifications sent, no records kept.
But wait — did you still run? If you went out and ran your hometurf anyway (solo runs count too!), you can mark the run as complete instead of deleting. This tracks your activity and keeps your hosting streak going.
What Happens After Completion
When you mark a run complete:
- Participants get notified — They receive a prompt to rate your hometurf
- Ratings start coming in — You'll see them in your Hosting dashboard
- Stats update — Your completed run count increases
Rating Moderation
When ratings come in, you'll see them in the Ratings section of your Hosting dashboard. For each rating, you can:
| Action | When to Use |
|---|---|
| Approve | The rating is fair and constructive |
| Report | Content violates community guidelines |
Reported ratings go to platform review. Only report genuine issues — personal disagreement isn't a valid reason.
