Managing Participants
When runners join your run, there's not much you need to do — the system handles confirmations automatically. But here's what you should know about managing your group.
Auto-Confirmation
Good news: There's no approval queue. When someone joins your run, they're automatically confirmed. This keeps things simple and encourages spontaneous participation.
Viewing Participants
To see who's joining:
- Open your run from Hosting or My Schedule
- Click the participants button (shows count like "3/8")
- See the list of confirmed runners
Declining a Participant
In rare cases, you may need to decline someone (e.g., they've messaged you that they can't make it, or there's a safety concern).
Tip: Before declining, reach out via chat if possible. A quick message explaining the situation keeps things friendly and avoids confusion.
To decline:
- Open the participants list
- Click the decline button next to their name
- Confirm your decision
The runner will be notified that they've been removed from the run.
Full Runs
When your run reaches maximum capacity:
- The join button becomes disabled for new runners
- You'll receive a "Run Full" notification
- The participant count shows as full (e.g., "8/8")
Tip: If you consistently fill up, consider scheduling more runs or increasing your participant limit.
Communicating with Participants
Use the group chat to connect with your participants before the run:
- Share last-minute details
- Post meeting point clarifications
- Build excitement!
Find the chat button (💬) on your run card in My Schedule.
