Beyond scheduled runs, you can explore hometurfs — routes that hosts have shared, waiting for you to discover. Use the search bar to find routes by name, area, or zip code.

Search and Discover​

Visit Discover Hometurfs to see an interactive map showing all explorable hometurfs in your area. Each pin represents a route ready to explore.

  • Average rating

The search bar (magnifying glass) allows you to find hometurfs by:

  • Route Name (e.g., "Schlossgarten")
  • Location (e.g., "Kemnat" or "73760")
  • Landmarks (e.g., "Park", "Lakes", or "Forest")
  • Host Name — find routes from your favorite hosts

Following Hometurfs​

Love a route but there are no runs scheduled? Follow the hometurf to get notified when the host schedules something.

Following means:

  • You'll receive a notification when a run is scheduled
  • The hometurf appears in your "Followed" section
  • Your follow adds to the hometurf's social proof

Viewing Runs for a Hometurf​

If a hometurf has upcoming runs scheduled, you'll see a View Planned Runs button. This takes you to Find Runs filtered to show only that hometurf's runs.

Route Details​

Each hometurf page shows:

  • Route image — Map preview or photos
  • Description — What makes this route special
  • Specifications — Distance, elevation, surface
  • Host info — Who leads runs here
  • Ratings — What other runners thought
  • Upcoming runs — If any are scheduled

For Hosts​

If you're a host, marking your hometurf as "Explorable" means it appears on this page. Toggle visibility from your hometurf menu.
