UI Indicators

You'll also see helpful badges and ribbons on the map and run cards:

  • "Easy" Badge: A green badge in the stats overlay. Our system automatically classifies runs as "Easy" based on a combination of distance, elevation, and pace.
  • "Run Full" Ribbon: A diagonal red ribbon across the run card on the map when a run has reached its participant limit.

Smart UI Indicators

We use intelligent indicators to help you quickly assess runs on the map and in your feed:

Difficulty Badges

Runs are automatically assigned a difficulty badge based on a weighted calculation of Distance, Elevation, and Anticipated Pace.

  • 🟢 Easy: Calculated as "Beginner Friendly". This badge appears when a run's combined difficulty score is 0.30 or lower.

[!TIP] How "Easy" is calculated:

  • Pace (40%): Slower than 6:30 min/km is considered easier.
  • Distance (35%): Short distances (under 5km) weight towards Easy.
  • Elevation (25%): Flat routes (under 50m gain) are more beginner-friendly.
